“Emotion Must Not Be Compromised By The Spoken Lines”- Alia Bhatt On Her Voice Being Dubbed In Telugu For RRR

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt’s fans are eager to see her mouthing dialogues in some South Indian languages in the upcoming magnum opus RRR. The actress went through some intense training to learn Telugu, sadly for her fans, the makers have decided to dub her voice. Even though the actress learned the language over a period of time, her Telugu accent was incorrect. Director S S Rajamouli was keen to keep her original voice, but things didn’t fit in right.

On her Telugu dialogues, Alia had said, “Yes, I did get a coach to learn Telugu from scratch and I did learn the language especially for my role in RRR. But I don’t know if they are keeping my voice. If they aren’t, it’s because the emotion of the moment in the scenes must not be compromised by the spoken lines.”

RRR also stars Jr NTR, Ram Charan in lead roles and Ajay Devgn in an extended cameo. The film is set to release on 25th March 2022. Meanwhile Alia was last seen in Gangubai Kathiawadi that was a box office success. She will next be seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani opposite Ranveer Singh.
