O Romeo, the upcoming film starring Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, Tamananaah Bhatia and Avinash Tiwary is set for its release on Valentine's Day in February 2026. 


Vishal Bharadwaj’s film O Romeo is one of the most anticipated releases of the year. The makers released the first teaser of the release, and fans finally got the first glimpse of the intense and rugged look of Shahid Kapoor and veteran actress Farida Jalal’s unexpected dialogue delivery, for which social media has been flooded with their reactions.

In the O Romeo teaser, Farida Jalal is abusing on screen, which has come as a shock to many viewers and her ardent fans. But it has also been accepted and seems to have stolen the entire show.  She has uninhibitedly used abuses on screen. Viewers have been shocked to see the chirpy favourite star from Shararat swearing. 


Vishal Bhardwaj has managed to convince the veteran actress Farida Jalal to curse in the film, which is required for the scene. Comments from fans like Farida Jalal swearing on camera were not on my 2026 Bingo card !! Or we got Farida Jalal saying bad words before GTA 6 joked another fan of hers.
