Fatima Sana Shaikh Is Excited To Play The Lead In The Hindi Remake Of Tamil Hit ‘Aruvi’

Bollywood actress Fatima Sana Shaikh has carved a niche for herself at an early age. Starting out as a child star, the actress has come a long way with exceptional performances in films like Dangal and Ludo. The actress will now be seen in yet another unique role playing the lead in the Hindi remake of the Tamil hit ‘Aruvi’. Speaking on the same the actress said, “At this point I can just say that it is a very interesting subject and a very interesting film. It is about this girl and her journey.” The original character was played by Aditi Balan in the 2017 hit. 

 

Talking about being part of a remake for the first time the actress said, “I am so glad this project has come to me as there are very few projects where you feel ki yaar yeh toh mujhe hi karna hai. After watching the film I felt that I want to be a part of this project. I know what I am getting into. Even though this is a remake I am sure there will be some freshness introduced to it and I will do my best to add in my own flavor too.” Sana was last seen in the movie Ajeeb Daastaans and will soon be seen in Bhoot Police co-starring Saif Ali Khan.
