Fatima Sana Shaikh Joins The Cast Of Vicky Kaushal Starrer ‘Sam Bahadur’

A while back there was a buzz that ace filmmaker Meghna Gulzar and producer Ronnie Screwvala are collaborating on bringing the life of field marshal Sam Manekshaw on the big screen. Now that project has a name ‘Sam Bahadur’ and Uri: The Surgical Strike actor Vicky Kaushal will be playing the lead and titular role. Now there is some more exciting news on the same. Ludo actress Fatima Sana Shaikh will be playing an important role in the film as well. The actress has been approached for the same. She is in talks with the makers and things should materialise soon. 

 

Meanwhile, Sam Bahadur is in the pre production stage and will most likely go on floors early next year. Vicky’s first look from the film was unveiled in 2019. Sharing the same the actor had written, “The swashbuckling general & the first Field Marshal of India- SAM MANEKSHAW. I feel honoured & proud of getting a chance to unfold his journey on-screen. Remembering him on his death anniversary & embracing the new beginnings with @meghnagulzar and @RonnieScrewvala.” Kaushal will next be seen in The Immortal Ashwatthama opposite Sara Ali Khan while Fatima was last seen in Ajeeb Daastaans
