Fatima Sana Shaikh Reveals 'Why She Feared Solo Films!'

Actress Fatima Sana Shaikh opened up on how her debut film 'Dangal' made her feel threatened and frightened and then her next film 'Ludo' changed her perception.
It's been eight years for Fatima Sana Shaikh in Bollywood as an elegant actress. While she is currently satisfied with her various projects, such as Metro In Dino, which is a sequel of the film 'Life In A Metro' and Aap Jaisa Koi, which will be released this year.
"I had felt a certain pressure of not acting up to the image and benchmark which I had created. It created a sense of self-doubt that audiences might think I am a good actor, but am I a truly one? I didn’t want to do solo-centric films because, then the responsibility of a project will be on me, and then if the audience doesn’t praise it, what would I do? I had approached my work with fear, and I took a lot of time to understand that it’s okay to fail and make mistakes,” she said.
She confessed that while Dangal had given her a major recognition but it also brought in different challenges for her in choosing roles as she preferred ensemble casts to ease the burden of carrying a film all alone by herself.
