As seen in the trailer Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania (Hrithik), Squadron Leader Minal Rathore (Deepika) and Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh (Anil Kapoor) along with their Indian Air Force (IAF) are preparing for a mission. The squad take on the mission of protecting the nation's skies from the potential threat of enemy nations. 

Storyline of Fighter Follows The Air Dragons Mission:

 According to the trailer, the story follows hostile activities going out of control in Srinagar Valley. To take action on these activities a new unit Air Dragons, is appointed by the Air Headquarters. The unit includes a few of the best combat aviators handpicked from across the IAF. The story of Fighter narrates the courageous story of Air Dragons sacrificing their lives for the nation.

Fighter is directed by Siddharth Anand and features Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi. The movie marks Deepika and Hrithik's first-ever collaboration together. In December the official teaser of the movie was revealed by the makers. The movie is all set to release in theatres on 25th January.
