"Hrithik is the son of the film actor producer director Rakesh Roshan . Hrithik’s maternal Grand father was Producer-Director J Om Prakash who brought Hrithik Roshan on screen at the age of 6 for the film Aasha in 1980 secretly screening him on the camera of his dance performance. After several years as an young Hrithik is known for his spontaneity in the dancing. Hrithik is believed to be the lucky mascot for the films and he has done small roles to be a part of the film produced by his Grandfather and his father. The film did good business in India as well as abroad earning .12 billion Next was his film Luck By chance that was a comedy film which failed to find the audience but was well received by the Critics earning a 75% rating. Hrithik was involved with his family production and the ambitious thriller romantic film Kites. And the entire film is shot in United States in Nevada and New Mexico. Kites was produced by his father Rakesh Roshan but directed by Anurag Basu of the Gangster fame. In this film Hrithik plays a grey character of an American Born involved in a green card scam in which he marries 11 different women in exchange for money. The film Kites received a huge national and international release and the first Bollywood film to break into the North American Top 10. However this film is a mix of Hindi-English-Spanish dialogues that seemed to have not been too popular among the Indian audience. In 2010 saw Hrithik in first time collaboration with Director Sanjay Leela Bansali for the film Guzzarish with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan once again. Hrithik Roshan’s next release was the Fox Star Studio film Bang Bang produced in 2014 the film with Katrina Kaif shot in Thailand.
