Last year actor Govind sustained injury on his leg by accidental bullet shot. His daughter Tina Ahuja opens up about the incident.

It was 4.45 am while he was leaving for an appointment Govinda had shot himself in the leg by mistake . The actor was rushed to the hospital immediately while his family members had joined him to lend their moral support. His daughter Tina had broken down seeing her father in a pool of blood and expressed how scared she was seeing her father in the injured condition.

Tina Ahuja could not control her tears when dad Govinda was discharged from the hospital after he had recovered from the bullet injury.

The actor’s young daughter Tina Ahuja shared her father was getting ready to leave for Kolkata for an event and had an early morning flight, when she heard the gun shot. She said she was the one who rushed her father to the hospital . She said she saw the pool of blood and her father’s trousers were completely soaked in blood. She said it was a moment of victory as she had prayed intensly for her father and her prayers gave her the strength to face the calamity which was most unexpected.

Tina Ahuja shared she was with her father constantly and in the ICU she insisted on sleeping on the floor just to be near him and her only goal and faith was to bring him back home healthy and safe.

Govinda’s manager Shashi Sinha said confirmed the actor was getting ready to leave for Kolkata by the early morning flight and that he was keeping his licensed revolver in the case when it fell from his hand and the bullet got fired which had hit his leg.
