Javed Jaffrey joins the cast of Coolie No.1

While fans are eagerly waiting to see lead actor Varun Dhawan and lead actress Sara Ali Khan’s fresh pairing and chemistry on-screen, there is another well-known actor who has joined the bandwagon to the laugh riot. Actor Javed Jaffrey has signed the dotted line and will soon commence shooting. The production house announced his arrival into the family and wrote, “He has always tickled our funny bones with his perfect comic timing! It's time to welcome a new member, Javed Jaffrey to the #CoolieNo1 family.”

 

Javed Jaffrey is one of the most versatile actors of ABollywood with impeccable comic timing. His work in Dhamaal, 3 Idiots, Singh is King, Salaam Namaste and many more are commendable. His recent film appearance in the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Bala was note worthy too. Coolie No.1 is directed by David Dhawan and is a modern remake of the hit 1995 Govinda and Karisma Kapoor starrer. The film is all set to hit the big screens on 1st May 2020.
