Jersey remake to have Shahid Kapoor in the lead

After playing a tragic hero in his last romantic movie Kabir Singh, lead actor Shahid Kapoor is all set to grab eyeballs with yet another south remake of ‘Jersey’. The Telugu original starrer actor Nani in the leading role and directed by Gowtam Tinnanauri who will also helm the Hindi version.
Hindi remake of Jersery will be produced by Allu Aravind, Dil Raju and Aman Gill. The film will hit the big screens worldwide on 28th August 2020. Shahid Kapoor was last also seen in the controversial movie Padmaavat opposite Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.
