The veteran actor Kabir Bedi called out for the promotion of tourism in India during his visit to Italy. He has truly appreciated India’s natural diversity and has urged the industry to shoot within the country.

Audiences professionally know the actor for his portrayal of Emperor Shah Jahan in ‘Taj Mahal: An Eternal Love Story’ and for the negative character he played in the film ‘Khoon Bhari Maang.’


Kabir Bedi’s Powerful Statement


In a formal conversation with ANI, the actor said, ‘Indian Tourism must be promoted because our locations are not less than the others. We have some stunning scenery, such as the Himalayas, forests, deserts, buildings, beaches, and forts. What do we not have in India? Previously, people used to go abroad for vacations, but now domestic tourism has significantly increased. We want people from outside must visit India and admire our locations. We have arrived here to spread the message to Italy that India is a phenomenal place and you must surely visit there.




Also, the actor recalled his Italian mini-series named ‘Sandokan.’ In this series, he had enacted a titular role. He said, ‘In my series ‘Sandokan,’ India was shown. Several shoot sequences of Italy were shot in India, and I too was a part of it. They had showcased some amazing locations. Also, it is quite important to remind people that we do have those locations as well as new locations.
