Kajal Aggarwal joins the cast of Mumbai Saga

The Sanjay Gupta directorial Mumbai Saga, which stars John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi in the lead, has a leading lady join the cast. Actress Kajal Aggarwal will be playing the Batla House actor’s love interest in the film. The film is based on Bombay’s transition to Mumbai, set during the period of 1980’s and the 90’s. The film also stars Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover, Samir Soni, Suniel Shetty, Rohit Roy and Prateik Babbar, among others.

 

Sanjay Gupta says that Kajal Aggarwal’s character in the film starts with a teenager, who then becomes John’s girlfriend and his wife. Her character is a pivotal one in the movie and needed to be acted out by someone who has a strong screen presence, which is why she is a perfect choice. The Singham actress has been part of many South movies before she made her debut into Bollywood. The film will hit the cinema screens on 19th June 2020.
