Known for her perfectionism and daring choice of roles, Kangana will now be seen playing a very controversial south politician, the late Jayalalithaa Jayaraman. The Tanu weds Manu returns actress is taking Tamil lessons as she wants to get into the character 100%.
Interestingly, the Manikarnika actress sees many shades of her own personality in the infamous actress turned politician which was one of the main reasons she was very enticed by the script. The movie will be made in hindi as ‘Jaya’ and ‘Thalaivi’ in tamil.
