Karan Johar’s Production House Cites ‘Professional Circumstances’ For Recasting Of Dostana 2

It is rather rare that a big production house will recast right in the middle of the shooting schedule. But that seems to be the case with Dharma Productions and their decision to replace its lead star Kartik Aaryan in their upcoming rom-com Dostana 2. The actor had apparently completed the second schedule of the film when something went wrong and the producer has decided to recast. The house simply issued a notice that read, “due to professional circumstances, on which we have decided to maintain dignified silence- we will be recasting Dostana 2, directed by Collin D'Cunha. Please wait for the official announcement soon.”

 

This has become enormous news for fans and is trending everywhere. Dostana 2 also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya Lalwani. The film was announced in 2019. It is directed by Collin D’Cunha. It is a sequel to the 2008 hit starring John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra in the lead.
