The filmmakers of Kesari Veer: Legends of Somnath have revealed the release date has been postponed and the film is now slated to hit the theatres on May 23rd 2025. Starring Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, Sooraj Pancholi along with debutant Akanksha Sharma.

Suniel Shetty Leads Epic Saga

Suniel Shetty in the film, as warrior Vegda Ji is set in the 14h century and the battle that follows to protect the Somnath temple from the invaders. Sooraj Pancholi as Veer Hamirji Gohil while Vivek Oberoi will be essaying the antagonist Zafar who leads the attack. Akanksha Sharma will be essaying the role of Rajal. Yesteryear actress Aruna Irani will be seen as Charan Jagdamba.

Kesari Veer Legends of Somnath is the tale of Vegda Ji and Hamirii Gohil who fought against the Tughlaq Empire to protect the Somnath Temple and the Hindu faith from the invading forces.

The makers of Kesari Veer: Legends of Somnath have released the first song titled Bharatvarsh Anthem, a patriotic track that pays tribute to the sacrifices of Indian warriors and the story revolving around the brave, forgotten warriors who fought in the 14th century, which has added an emotional and nationalistic tone to the film. 

The song from the film sung by Suvarna Tiwari with music composed is produced by Monty Sharma and lyrics written by Akshat Gupta has been released under the Panorama Music Label.  The CEO of the Panorama Music expressed that Bharathvarsh Anthem is powerful tribute is a proud moment for the team.

Kesari Veer Legends of Somnath is directed by Prince Dhiman and is produced by Kanu Chauhan under the Chauhan Studios banner. The film was earlier slated for release worldwide by Panorama Studios on May 16th has now been postponed to 23rd May 2025.
