Kingdom, featuring Vijay Deverakonda, is struggling at the box office. It saw a 72 percent decline in collections on Monday, and the trend continued on Tuesday, witnessing a further drop in its collection.


The film opened to mixed reviews, earning ₹18 crore on its opening day and garnering ₹1.5 crore on Day 5.


Box Office Numbers and Performance Compared to Previous Films


According to trade tracking site Sanchlik, Kingdom’s total net collection now stands at ₹40.90 crore, and its gross collection at ₹48.60 crore. It performed better than Vijay Deverakonda’s previous films, including Liger, which also featured Ananya Pandey and earned ₹41.17 crore, and The Family Star, which grossed ₹18 crore.




Eyes Now on OTT Release After Theatrical Slowdown


Despite the cold response in theatres, now all eyes are on the OTT release of the movie. According to reports, the digital rights of Kingdom have been acquired by OTT giant Netflix, but it has not disclosed the official digital release date yet. With the theatrical release witnessing a slowdown, the film can find another chance on OTT.

The film, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, also features Bhagyashri Borse and Venkatesh in prominent roles.
