The very first episode of much much-awaited show Koffee With Karan season 8  is out now! Featuring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh this episode is a real treat for their fans. The episode marks the first-ever appearance of the couple on the Koffee With Karan. As the promo of the episode went viral viewers expected this episode to be a roller coaster ride of emotions. Promo suspected many revelations of their grand wedding which took place 5 years ago.

From the moment Ranveer fell in love with Deepika to their secret engagement which took place in 2015 to their dreamy wedding this episode gives insights into everything from their personal life. It also features the host of the show Kanar Johar being vulnerable and sharing about his love life and mental health.

While remembering the exact moment Ranveer fell in love with Deepika in 2012. He recalls the time when they were in the process of making the hot movie ‘Bajirao Mastani’. Ranveer revled that he was the one who suggested Deepika's name afdter Kareena Kapoor's back out from the movie. While talking about the exact moment he recalled her attending a reading session for the movie in a beautiful white chikankari kurta at director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Versova house.

Ranveer said There was a famous or infamous reading for Ram Leela at Mr Bhansali’s house in Versova. I was supposed to meet him before Deepika’s arrival. So I was sitting on the table and the door was on my left. He has these heavy doors and he lives by the seaside. So, these heavy doors open and the gush of wind comes from the sea. There, Deepika enters wearing this white chikankari, hair blowing due to the sea wind just like some sadgi ki moorat. I was like 'Oh My God'!”

In the hilarious revelation, Ranveer said he felt a connection with Deepika when she asked him to clean a piece of crab stuck between her teeth. After six months of preparing and shooting for Bajirao Mastani Ranveer was sure Deepika was the one. While talking about her other relationships Deepika shared how she dated other people but in the end, always felt like reuniting with Ranveer.

Talking about their first movie together they talked about being in love on the sets of Ram Leela. Ranveer said, “Everybody was watching how love was in the air! and I feel like it may have translated in the film also!” to which, Karan agreed, stating, “It did! It seemed like the chemistry was real!”
