‘Lol: Land of Lungi’ to be put on a back burner..for now

After Mission Mangal actor Akshay Kumar was unable to give dates for the film ‘Lol: Land of Lungi’, he recommended Uri: The Surgical Strike actor Vicky Kaushal for the part. The Raazi actor worked his dates out and made a place of this latest film, but unfortunately, the film has been put on the back burner as per reports. The film is a Hindi remake of the Tamil super hit ‘Veeram’.

Lol: Land of Lungi’s script has been written by Farhad Samji and he felt a lot of changes needed to be made to it and thus it has been set aside for a while. The film will be worked on after the writer’s multi-starrer Housefull 4 is released. Vicky Kaushal meanwhile, will next be seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Bhoot Part One:The Haunted Ship”.
