The elaborate set, reportedly constructed at a cost of ₹50 crore, aims to authentically depict the Manikarnika Ghat using a combination of physical sets and extensive VFX. Meanwhile, lead actors Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra Jonas are set to resume shooting in Kenya. 

Rajamouli Builds Varanasi Set in Hyderabad for ‘SSMB29’

The upcoming schedule is expected to feature intense action sequences set in the African wilderness, continuing the film's globe-trotting narrative.  'SSMB29' is shaping up to be a high-budget, multi-location epic, with a release planned for two parts in 2027 and 2028. The film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and is expected to feature a musical score by M.M. Keeravani.
