Mahesh Manjrekars Panghrun Trailer Will Stir All Your Emotions

A familiar sight in rural India where a young bride is married off to a much older man, is the main gist of the story of upcoming Marathi film Panghrun. The storyline also depicts how a young married girl tragically loses her husband and is then married off to an older widower with kids. The lead actress Gauri Ingawale’s innocence and immaculate performance as a 14 year old young widow, will tug at your heartstrings.

Gauri Ingawale is the stepdaughter of Panghrun director Mahesh Manjrekar. She is making her acting debut with the film. The film also stars Amol Bawdekar and Sulekha Talwalkar. The film is a period drama and has already won several awards including the Bangalore International Film Awards (Indian Film Selection). Panghrun will hit the big screens on 4th February 2022.
