Bollywood filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri’s last release The Tashkent Files was critically acclaimed. It was based on the mysterious death of Lal Bahadur Sashtri. It stirred a lot of emotions in the audience. The director is now back with an equally gripping subject of the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits. The film is titled The Kashmir Files and was initially supposed to release on Republic Day 2022, but due to the pandemic it got postponed. 

 

The Kashmir Files will now release on March 11th. Announcing the exciting news on social media, the makers wrote, “Bringing the story of Kashmir Genocide on the big screen. #TheKashmirFiles releasing on 11th March 2022 #RightToJustice.” The film boasts an incredible cast comprising of Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumar, Mrinal Kulkarni and many more. It is produced by Tej Narayan Agarwal, Abhishek Agarwal, Pallavi Joshi and Vivek Agnihotri under the Zee Studios, IAmBuddha and Abhishek Agarwal Arts banners.
