Biography
The actor has appeared primarily in Hindi films and made his debut with the film Tere Naam in which Salman Khan played the lead role. He was Salman Khan’s friend in the film He also starred in Mary Kom 2014 biopic opposite Priyanka Chopra as the male lead. He is however, best known for his film The Kashmir Files released in 2022 in which he has starred as a young student from a Kashmiri Pandit family.
Darshan’s debut film was NH10 with Anushka Sharma but Mary Kom with Priyanka released first
He later worked in television series such as Devon Ke Dev Mahadev playing the role of Shukracharaya, the guru of the demons.
Besides the main stream cinema. Darshan Kumar also appeared on the small screen with the television shows such as Chotti Bahu between 2008 and 2010. In 2009 he appeared in Na Aana Is Des Laado and in 2010 to 2012 he played a role in Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo. In 2012 he acted in the film Havan.
Darshan Kumar like many other actors appeared in web series such as Parchhayee in 2019 , 2020 and 2021he acted in The Family Man , Avrodh The Seige Within , Aashram.
