Vidyut Jammwal is back on the big screen with yet another movie. Crakk has been released in theatres today and receiving mixed reviews as many are claiming that storyline of the movie is very poorly written.

Action Overload but Storyline Underwhelms in 'Crakk: Jeetega To Jiyegaa:

Just like every other Bollywood action movie 'Crakk: Jeetega To Jiyegaa' serves only action and lacks in story. The movie features high-level and deadly action sequences. Some of these stunts will leave you in shock while some appear as poorly done VFX. Crakk is directed by Aditya Datt and features Vidyut Jamwal, Arjun Rampal, Nora Fatehi, Amy Jackson, and Ankit Mohan in the lead cast.

Review: 'Crakk' Struggles with Poor Storyline and Unfocused Plot:

Review of Crakk Jeetega To Jiyegaa- The storyline of Crakk is one of the poorest elements of the movie. The movie revolves around a guy from Mumbai named Siddharth Dixit played by Vidyut Jammwal who lives in slums. He does dangerous and deadly stunts on the running local trains. Siddhu jumps from one train to another, touches light poles and runs on the top of moving trains.

Vidyut Jammwal's Siddharth Dixit Seeks Revenge in 'Crakk':

The only purpose of the story Crakk is revenge for Siddhu's elder brother Nihal played by Ankit Mohan who lost his life in Maidaan. In the movie, Maidaan is referred to as an underground survival sports competition. The story later shows Siddhu also participating in the same deadly game where his elder brother lost his life.

Arjun Rampal Dominates as Champion of Maidaan in 'Crakk':

The story introduces the villain of the movie and champion of Maidaan Dev played by Arjun Rampal. To win Maidaan Sdidhu have to beat Dev. The whole story shifts when Siddhu learns about the real reason behind his brother's death. The movie also features Siddhu's love interest Alia played by Nora Fatehi whom he meets during Maidaan.

Action Takes Center Stage But Plot Lacks Clarity in 'Crakk- Jeetega To Jiyegaa:

The movie has a very unclear motive and it fails to stick to its storyline till the end. Many action sequences feel unnecessary which takes away the real essence of the movie. The main plot changes many times throughout the movie's runtime; sometimes it's focused on Siddhu or on his dead brother and the revenge Siddhu wants to take whole most of the time it's just about Siddhu doing stunts. It's very hard to understand what a movie wants to claim and share with its audience. The story doesn't keep its pace and jumps from one point to another without letting the previous one finish.

Technical Factors Of Crakk- Jeetega Toh Jiyegaa:

Moving on to the technical factors of the movie the length of Crakk feels unnecessarily stretched out and left you bored till the end of it. The dragged-out action sequences have weighed the movie down. The editing done by Sandeep Kurup is not up to the mark which fails to keep the audience invested throughout the movie. The writing is very poor as well as the direction. The movie visually looks appealing and presents stunning action sequences with a background of exotic locations. The cinematography of Crakk is done by Mark Hamilton. Giving the credits where it's due the action choreography done by Kerry Gregg will surely impress you.

Performance Review- Vidyut Jammwal Manages To Stand Out Despite Weak Plot in 'Crakk':

Moving on to acting performances Vidyut Jammwal represents a perfect action hero which he is. He performs the action stunts convincingly while leaving the audience in awe. However, the way he appears doesn't match well with the background of his character. The villain of Crakk Arjun Rampal represents a hateworthy villain and gets an equal opportunity to show his action skills throughout the movie. There is nothing special about Nora Fatehi's character but whatever she does she performs well. Same with Amy Jackson who plays a cop Patricia. Ankit Mohan also delivers decent performance.

Final thoughts on Crakk- Jeetega Toh Jiyegaa: The movie is not for everyone and if you want to enjoy it you'll have to shut the logic button in your head. It delivers survival sports action with a patchy storyline. Actors deliver decent performances. Crakk is a one-time watch for people who enjoy watching life-threatening action sequences.
