Mrunal Thakur is gearing up for the release of her upcoming action drama Dacoit and has described the film as a very different experience in her career. Speaking at the teaser launch event held on November 18, the actress shared that the film allowed her to tap into emotional shades similar to her critically acclaimed performance in Love Sonia.

Mrunal revealed that Dacoit marks her first project shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, calling the bilingual experience both challenging and fulfilling. She praised co star Adivi Sesh, saying it was exciting to see him transform into his character and bring intensity to the screen. The actress also spoke warmly about working with Anurag Kashyap, describing the experience as a learning process despite having limited scenes with him.

Sharing her thoughts on director Shaneil Deo, Mrunal said his clarity of vision helped her push boundaries as an actor. She added that being guided to deliver her best performance gave her immense satisfaction on set.

The teaser of Dacoit has already generated buzz for its gritty visuals, high octane action and intriguing characters. The film also stars Anurag Kashyap, Prakash Raj and Atul Kulkarni, and is scheduled to release on March 19, 2026.
