Neena Gupta Joins The Cast Of Sooryavanshi

The veteran actress Neena Gupta, who is riding high with the success of her film Badhaai Ho that released last year will be seen playing Akshay Kumar’s mother in the upcoming film Sooryavanshi. Speaking of her role, she said it isn’t a stereotypical mother’s character but has scope for versatility and dimensions.

 

The actress doesn’t mind playing mother roles as long as they have depth and give her enough challenge to play the character. She was also seen in the Kareena Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor starrer Veere Di Wedding.

 

The Rohit Shetty directed cop-drama would be shot in Mumbai, Bangkok, Ramoji Filmcity in Hyderabad and then Goa for a few scenes. The movie is slated to hit cinemas on Eid 2020.
