The director Om Raut is returning with his upcoming biopic titled ‘Kalam: The Missile Man of India,’ a biopic on Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. The upcoming movie will feature Dhanush in the main lead role.

Om Raut is gearing up for his comeback with his upcoming film ‘Kalam: The Missile Man of India.’ This upcoming film will be based on the life of the former President as well as the aerospace scientist Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.

Tamil cinema’s promising star Dhanush will portray the lead role in the film. This upcoming film marks the return of  Om Raut to the industry after the massive disappointment of ‘Adipurush’ in the year 2023.

While addressing the upcoming film, the director shared an X post with a caption, ‘From Rameswaram to Rashtrapati Bhavan, the journey of a legend begins… India’s Missile Man is coming to the silver screen. Dream big. Rise higher. #KALAM – The Missile Man Of India.’ This announcement has left the fans quite excited for the comeback of the director after a significant time period of two years.

This upcoming film is backed by Abhishek Agarwal and Bhushan Kumar. While it is produced by Krishan Kumar, Anil Sunkara, Abhishek Agarwal and Bhushan Kumar. Moreover, the makers haven’t announced the film’s release date yet.
