Pankaj Tripathi Collaborates With Srijit Mukherji To Play Lead In His Film Sherdil

Award winning actor Pankaj Tripathi has mesmerized fans with his performance in projects like Stree, Gangs of Wasseypur, Mirzapur, etc. the super talented actor has wrapped up filming of the Akshay Kumar starrer Oh My God 2 and has begun shooting for another. He will be playing the lead in Srijit Mukherji’s upcoming film Sherdil. The production of the film began last year but got delayed due to the pandemic. 

 

Talking about the director, Tripathi said, “Srijit is a fabulous director. He needs no introduction. His work speaks for itself. When Sherdil was offered to me, I jumped on the idea. The story has a definite character in itself. It is a beautifully written script and I trust Srijit to bring each character to life convincingly. That’s his USP.” Mukerji on the other hand said, “Pankaj Tripathi is one of the finest actors in the country today. Having him on set is half the battle won. He is always excited to try new things and improvise when need be. He is a director’s delight.”
Apart from this film, Pankaj has Ranveer Singh starrer 83 and Bachchan Pandey to look forward to.
