Param Sundari Box Office Day 4: Big Dip In Collections

Tushar Jalota’s romantic comedy Param Sundari, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, is facing a steep decline in box office numbers.

After opening on Friday with 7.25 crore, the film has seen a significant drop, earning 3.50 crore on Day 4 (Monday). This brings the total collection so far to 28.19 crore.

Film earns 3.5 crore on Monday

Despite its star power and cross-cultural love story, Param Sundari has received mixed reviews from both fans and critics. The film’s Monday performance reflects a 65% dip from its opening day, indicating weak weekday hold.

Adding to the challenge is the strong competition from Saiyaara, Mohit Suri’s romantic musical drama starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, which became a box office sensation last month. Saiyaara had an opening day collection of 22.50 crore and quickly crossed the 100-crore mark, setting a high benchmark that Param Sundari is yet to approach.

Struggles against Saiyaara at box office

Set against a backdrop of contrasting cultures between Delhi and Kerala, Param Sundari also features Rajeev Khandelwal and Aakash Dahiya in pivotal roles. Whether the film can recover over the week remains to be seen, but current trends suggest an uphill battle for this romantic entertainer.
