Prakash Raj in a legal tussle over ‘Tadka’

Actor-politician Prakash Raj, seems to have hit unchartered territories when his directorial debut started on a wrong foot. The movie that stars Ali Fazal, Taapsee Pannu and Nana Patekar has been the center of legal drama. The director has been warned of ‘Contempt of Court’ if his cheque of Rs 2 Crores bounces for any reason, and he will be held accountable.

 

The unpaid bills of the movie include Rs 5.88 Crores plus taxes, to be paid to Essel Vision, which is a Zee Group Company. Prakash Raj’s brother in law Jatish Verma manages the production house Movie Makers, which also has a law suit filed against them for the same. A court hearing has been schedule for the 30 of August 2019 to ascertain if the cheque given by the Singham actor has been cleared or not. The actor has acted in South as well as Bollywood movies like Wanted, Dabangg 2, Policegiri, Heropanti and many more.
