The actor has officially wrapped the shooting for his upcoming biopic Nikam revealed himself with the new transformation of his body.
Sharing an update, the actor opened up and wrote that Nikam demanded a complete physical shift that he called it a commitment to authenticity and its craft. Choosing discipline to get the right look of the character is more crucial and expressed he enjoys embracing hard work rather than using the artificial enhancements.
He further stated, for Nikam he had to gain I to 10 kilograms by consciously indulging in pizzas, rich food like sweets, parathas, and biryani to stay true to the character’s raw appeal.
In the past the actor had transformations that he recalled had faced resistance from going half bald for Bose: Dead/Alive and then drastically changed his weight for Trapped to staying in the character even off camera for the visually impaired man in Srikanth.
Rajkummar Rao has consistently pushed his boundaries to deliver his performances.

While not much details of Nikam is revealed and more facts are tightly guarded, the film is expected to be one of the performance driven milestones in Rajkummar’s career.
Rao is now already shifting focus to his next project and is ambitious to portray a former Indian Cricket captain Sourav Ganguly. The much-anticipated biopic for which he will have to shed all that extra weight gain and step in the Ganguly mode, who is fondly referred to in the cricket league as our very own Dada.
