Rajkummar Rao Most Likely To Step Into Karthik Aaryan’s Shoes For Dostana 2

The news of Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan’s ousting from Karan Johar’s Dostana 2 has left everyone quite shocked. Dharma Productions tried to calm the matter with their public announcement of ‘Professional circumstances’ being the reason for the same. Now that things seem to be settling a bit, there is a strong buzz that Ludo actor Rajkummar Rao might fill in the shoes of the Pati Patni Aur Woh actor. Interestingly he was the original choice for the role and now the makers are trying to get him back on board. Director Collin D'Cunha is currently making changes to the script. 

Dostana 2 also stars Janhvi Kapoor who has worked with Rao in the horror comedy flick Roohi. If things work out this will be their second outing. Rajkummar meanwhile also has Badhaai Do opposite Bhumi Pednekar.
