Usha Uthup has no hard feelings over the song being rehashed in the blockbuster film Dhurandhar

Usha Uthup revealed she was sent a link of the rehashed version of her song, Rambha Ho from the film Dhurandhar. However, she did not mind that the makers had not approached her for consent or blessings before rehashing one of her most iconic tracks, Rambha Ho Instead, the gracious singer was delighted the song renewed its popularity and is not upset about someone else lending her voice to the revamped version.

Rambha Ho rehashed version in Dhurandhar has instead added on to its popularity.

In an interview, Usha Uthup revealed that though the new version rehashed took her by a pleasant surprise with the fresh take on her iconic song which she still sings at her performance , the remake has given the track a new lease of life and also because the track is used in one of the biggest blockbusters, Dhurandhar.

For the song to make a comeback with such a bang is amazing and this only proves that the song is bigger than the singer says the humble Usha.  The original song, Rambha Ho was sung by the singer Usha Uthup around 40 years ago and she had continued to sing this popular number at many of her live shows and performing Rambha Ho for years but the Dhurandhar remake has now infused the old track with fresh energy while its also gaining renewed popularity with a new force and she thanks God Dhurandhar for making it more popular.  She called it the Gen-Z-Call with every second the song gets hits on the Instagram, which is amazing.

She further mentioned,  Madhuanti who has sung the rehashed version, and said she has also sung it beautifully.  She believes that whoever sings Rambha Ho, the song should be a hit . The duo had done a reel together for a nightclub Trincas he singer also mentioned that the makers didn’t approach her to take her blessing for the rehashed version.
