Release Of Alia Bhatt Starrer RRR Most Likely To Be Pushed To 2022

Baahubali filmmaker S S Rajamouli’s upcoming magnum opus RRR is one of the most expensive and awaited films in India right now. It will bring together big stars like Ajay Devgn, Jr NTR., Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt in the lead. The director had somehow agreed to release the film on 13th October 2021 but now it has hit a roadblock. The current COVID crisis in the country is frightening and very disheartening. Cinema halls might not open for a while the way things are going and releasing big budget films is next to impossible. 

Having said that both south superstars Ram Charan and Jr. NTR have a backlog of shooting to complete for their tracks in RRR. Thus an October release is just out of question for now. The makers are now looking for Makar Sankranti in January 2022, but if things don’t improve, that too might be unreasonable.
