Rishab Shetty's Kantara Qualified For An Oscar For Best Picture And Best Actor Categories

The 2022 Kannada movie Kantara in theatres astounded both the public and the critics with its spectacular director, screenplay, performances, soundtrack, and cinematography. Now Rishabh's Kantara has qualified for the Oscars in the Best Picture and Best Actor categories. As a result, the movie is now available for Oscar members to vote to advance it to the main categories. The Indian government deemed the Kannada-language movie a hit due to the overwhelming reception it garnered.

Regarding the Academy Awards, voting will begin on January 11 and go until January 17. On January 24, the final list of nominations will be released.

Last year, Karnataka saw a modest release of Kantara. However, the movie became a huge smash all throughout the country as a result of fantastic reviews and word-of-mouth.
