Rohit Shetty To Make His OTT Debut With A Cop Drama Thriller Series On Amazon Prime Video

Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty is known for his cop centered movies like Singham, Simmba and many more. While the director is awaiting the release of his Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi, he is going to give his fans some more exciting content. He will soon be venturing into the digital space with a cop thriller drama 8-episode series. The series will stream on Amazon Prime Video and will be directed by his assistant director Sushwanth Prakash. The latter has been working in Rohit’s team for years.

 

Rohit is working with his team of writers to get the cop series going and will be the creator and show runner for the same. The yet untitled series is said it be inspired from real life events. Since the series is high on action Bollywood stars like Vicky Kaushal, Sidharth Malhotra, and Tiger Shroff are the front-runners for the lead role. An announcement for the same will be made after Shetty’s Sooryavanshi gets a release date. The director also recently wrapped up his Ranveer Singh starrer Cirkus.
