Salman Khan Sends Rescue Boats To Flood-Hit Punjab, Film Industry Joins Relief Efforts

Superstar Salman Khan has once again stepped forward in a time of crisis by aiding the ongoing flood relief operations in Punjab.
Through his charitable initiative, the Being Human Foundation, Salman dispatched five rescue boats to assist in evacuations and distribute essential supplies to flood-affected residents.

Deepak Bali, Chairman of Punjab Tourism, confirmed that the foundation also plans to adopt villages near the border town of Hussainwala that have been severely impacted. Speaking about the crisis on his Bigg Boss 19 episode, Salman expressed his concern and solidarity with the people of Punjab.
The devastating floods, triggered by relentless monsoon rains, have claimed 51 lives so far, with overflowing rivers submerging several districts. The Department of Information and Public Relations has termed the situation critical.

The film industry has come together to support relief efforts. Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Deol, Shilpa Shetty, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Bhumi Pednekar have all shared messages of support and contributed to donation drives. Sonu Sood launched a helpline, Diljit Dosanjh pledged to adopt 10 villages, and Ammy Virk promised to rebuild 200 homes. Punjabi stars including Sonam Bajwa, Gippy Grewal, Satinder Sartaaj, and Karan Aujla are also actively participating in relief campaigns.
The united efforts highlight the industry’s solidarity with Punjab during this humanitarian crisis.
