Samantha Ruth Prabhu Silences Rumors Of Patch Up With Naga Chaitanya By Removing Tattoo Of His Name

Samantha Ruth Prabhu appears to have put an end to the rumors of patching things up with Naga Chaitanya. On Sunday, Naga Chaitanya sparked speculation when he shared a picture with Hash, their French Bulldog, which they welcomed when they were still married. Fans interpreted this photo as a sign that the actors may have. However, Samantha's latest photos from her trip to Dubai seem to dismiss these reconciliation rumors. In the pictures, it is evident that she has removed the tattoo of Naga Chaitanya's name.

Let's recap: Samantha Ruth Prabhu had Chaitanya's nickname, "Chay," inked on her rib while they were still together. She had two more tattoos dedicated to Chaitanya as well. The tattoo was visible until April this year when Samantha attended the London premiere of Priyanka Chopra's Citadel. However, in her new photos, the tattoo is nowhere to be seen, suggesting that the rumors of a patch up are untrue.

Last year, during an AMA session, Samantha hinted that she regrets getting tattoos. When asked about tattoos, she advised her younger self, saying, "My advice to my younger self would be not to get a tattoo. Ever!! Never get tattooed."

Samantha and Naga Chaitanya tied the knot in 2017, with celebrations that incorporated Hindu and Christian traditions. In 2021, they announced their separation. Earlier this year, Chaitanya confirmed that their divorce was finalized last year, and they have been legally single for over a year now. He also mentioned that both he and Samantha have moved on since their split.

“Yes. It’s been more than two years since we separated, and a year since we were formally divorced. The court has granted us a divorce. Both of us have moved on with our lives. I have tremendous respect for that phase of my life,” Chaitanya explained to The Times of India. Praising Samantha, he added, “She is a lovely person and deserves all happiness.” The reasons behind their separation have not been disclosed by either of them.
