Sanya Malhotra Is Excited To Work With Vicky Kaushal In Sam Bahadur, Says Their Chemistry Will Be Great!

A month ago, Bollywood filmmaker Meghna Gulzar welcomed the Dangal girls Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra on board for her Vicky Kaushal starrer directorial Sam Bahadur. The film will showcase how Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw lead the 1971 Indian Army to a historic win in the war against Pakistan. Vicky had said, “Sanya and Fatima with their characters bring more character and substance to the story of Sam Bahadur and, I am very excited to be working with them together for the first time.”

 

While Fathima will essay the role of former late Indian prime minister Indira Gandhi, Sanya will play Sam’s wife Silloo Maneckshaw. The meenakshi sundareshwar actress said, “I’m honoured to essay this role and bring to light her integral part and influence in this war hero’s life. I’m also extremely thankful to Meghna Gulzar and really looking forward to this exciting journey with her.” In a recent interview the actress also said that she will have great chemistry with Vicky Kaushal. We’ll just have to wait and watch that unfold in Sam Bahadur soon. Sanya will also reportedly be also seen in south filmmaker Atlee’s untitled film starring Shah Rukh Khan.
