Mohit Suri’s latest hit Saiyaara, starring Ahaan Pandey and Aneet Padda, is dominating the box office—and one familiar face has returned once again: Shaad Randhawa. Often referred to as Suri’s ‘lucky charm,’

Shaad has appeared in every single one of Mohit’s films, from Woh Lamhe in 2006 to this year’s blockbuster Saiyaara.

Shaad Randhawa has appeared in every Mohit Suri film

Shaad Randhawa comes from a rich Bollywood legacy. His mother, Malika Askari Randhawa, is a noted actress and sister of legendary star Mumtaz, making Mumtaz his aunt. His father Randhawa, a wrestler-actor, is also the brother of the iconic Dara Singh—making Shaad first cousins with Vindu Dara Singh.

From Woh Lamhe to Saiyaara, Shaad stands strong

While fans often speculate whether there’s a family connection between Mohit and Shaad, the filmmaker clarified in an interview, 'We’re not related—he’s just someone I feel extremely comfortable working with.' Their friendship began on the sets of Tumsa Nahin Dekha, and since then, Shaad has earned his place in Suri's trusted inner circle.

Whether it's a cameo or a key supporting role, Shaad Randhawa remains a constant in Mohit Suri’s cinematic universe.
