Shahid Kapoor And Vishal Bhardwaj Team Up Again For Gritty Valentines Day Thriller O Romeo

Director Vishal Bhardwaj has finally taken the wraps off his new offering, O Romeo, with a first look poster which is all set to disrupt each and every convention associated with a traditional Valentine's Day film.

This new film represents the fourth team-up between the filmmaker and star Shahid Kapoor, a partnership which has produced other landmark films such as Kaminey and Haider. But the signs point to the latest film being their darkest to date.

The First Brutal Glimpse

The new poster boasts a terrifying, blood-soaked Shahid Kapoor. Shahid Kapoor breaks away from the conventional ‘romantic hero’ look in this new imagery, which projects him as menacing, quite fierce. This(typically intense) imagery of struggle is punctuated by this disturbing, cryptic tag line: ‘O Romeo ki khushboo udegi iss Valentine’s.’ Industry sources also indicate Kapoor has gone through extensive physical transformations for this role. His character has a plethora of full body tattoos, which are seen to symbolize a graph of his Psychological trauma and "Inner Chaos."
