‘Shikara’ trailer wins hearts from across the border too

Filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra has finally released the trailer of his most awaited film Shikara and it has stirred many sentiments not only in India but also in the country of Pakistan. A noted Film critic named Fawad Ahmed reportedly broke down after watching the trailer, as it has a powerful impact. The film is based on the Kashmiri Pandit exodus in 1990 following Islamic terrorism in the state.

Shikara is an important film as it marks the directorial comeback of Vidhu Vinod Chopra after almost 13 years. He last directed the Saif Ali Khan starrer Eklavya: The Royal Guard.
