Sidharth Malhotra To Make His OTT Debut In Rohit Shetty’s Action-Packed Series ‘Indian Police Force’ For Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video has joined forces with Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty for his upcoming web series titled ‘Indian Police Force’, which will also mark his entry into the digital space. The series will also mark Shershaah actor Sidharth Malhotra’s digital debut as he plays the lead of a Delhi cop in the series. Indian Police Force is an ode to all the Indian cops recognising their selfless duty, undying patriotism and continued commitment to their service. 

 

Speaking about the eight part series, Shetty said, “I'm delighted to be collaborating with Amazon Prime Video to breathe life into this story which will transcend geographies and linguistic barriers, providing me an opportunity to showcase the same to audiences worldwide.”

 

Malhotra shared a teaser of the series on his social media page and captioned it, “When #Rohitshetty sir says Action, you know he literally means it! Super stoked to enter the cop universe with the action King himself! With ‘Indian Police Force’, Shetty aims to set a new benchmark for high octane action series in India. The series is currently been shot in Mumbai and will most likely release in 2023.
