Sidharth Malhotra To Star In Rohit Shetty’s Cop-Based Web Series

Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty is known for his cop themed films with  A list actors like Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh. He is now foraying into the digital world with a new cop based series. Actor Sidharth Malhotra who is fresh off the success of his last film Shershaah will reportedly play the lead. This is the first time Shetty and Malhotra will be working together and the collaboration was highly anticipated since a long time. 

 

The yet to be titled cop-based series will be directed by debutant Sushwanth Prakash and take off in 2022. Rohit Shetty will be the showrunner for the web series and will soon begin on the pre-production of the series. It is said to premiere next year on Amazon Prime Video. Meanwhile Shetty is busy putting finishing touches to his Ranveer Singh, starrer comedy Cirkus and soon to release Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi. Sidharth meanwhile has Mission Majnu and Thank God in the pipeline.
