Sidharth Malhotra Wraps Up Kargil Schedule For 'Shershaah'

Actor Sidharth Malhotra is one of the few Bollywood actors who is environment conscious. After the Jabariya Jodi actor’s recent Kargil schedule was wrapped up for his upcoming movie Shershaah, the actor made sure that the place was left as it was before or cleaner, respecting mother earth. He requested his team members to clear out any thrash or items that were left behind post the shoot completion.

 

Shershaahis based on the martyred young Indian soldier Captain Vikram Batra, who fought in the India-Pakistan war in Kargil in 1999. Sidharth Malhotra will be seen in a double role in the film playing the slain officer as well as his twin brother Vishal Batra. The film is directed by Vishnu Varadhan and produced by Karan & Hiroo Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shabbir Boxwala, Ajay Shah and Himanshu Gandhi. The film also stars Kabir Singh actress Kiara Advani in the lead.
