Sohum Shah Gives Big Update On 'Tumbbad' Sequel.

Rahi Anil Barve and Anand Gandhi's 'Tumbbad' is one of the best horror-fantasy films of the last few decades. The 2018 film starring Sohum Shah in the lead was loved by many across the country. With time the film has gained a cult status and fans are looking forward to the sequel of the same.

Recently, Sohum Shah opened up about it and said that one or two sequels are definitely being considered. However, this will not happen now. The actor said that the sequel is currently being written. It's been five years since 'Tumbbad' released, but he is still trying to put down the idea for the sequel on paper in the form of a script.

He added that just because the first film has achieved cult status, doesn't mean he can compromise on the story of the sequel, as it would be doing injustice to the masterpiece. Despite the unusual story of 'Tumbbad', Sohum was sure that the film would be liked by the audience.

He said that he knew that he was doing something different, so he gave seven years of his life for the same. Soham is currently garnering rave reviews for his just released web series 'Dahaad' starring Sonakshi Sinha, Gulshan Devaiah and Vijay Varma.
