Televised Hindi Version Of Sairat Is Out

The National Award winning 2016 Marathi movie Sairat will now be remade into a television series in Hindi titled Jaat Na Poocho Prem Ki. The show will feature Kinshuk Vaidya and Pranali Suresh Rathore as the lead pair and the title track is sung by ‘Twist Kamariya’ from Bareilly Ki Barfi singer Yasser Desai.

 

Sairat is a heart-warming love story of two young lovers from different castes. The movie shows the challenges the lovers face while keeping their love alive in the deep-rooted evils of the caste system in India. Many regional versions of this movie have previously been made, including ‘Dhadak’ starring Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar.
