The Don 3 Dispute
The controversy began after FWICE had reportedly issued a non-cooperation directive against the actor Ranveer Singh after his exit from the much-anticipated franchise , Don 3. The controversy gained momentum thereafter.
The dispute between Ranveer Singh and Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment surfaced in December 2025 when the actor walked out of the film abruptly after his success in Dhurandhar with the filmmaker Aditya Dhar. Farhan Akhtar had approached the FWICE claiming Ranveer Singh’s exit from the film has caused him a humongous monetary loss of Rs. 45 crore .
Ranveer Singh it is believed has sent a legal notice to the film workers body on Tuesday after he was issued the non-cooperation directive against him and it was unclear what Ranveer Singh had sought in the notice issued but FWICE was required to respond to it in the court.
