Previously titled Heer Sara Aur Pondicherry, the film is now officially renamed as Heer Sara. The makers have opted for a shorter and more impactful title as it is easier to recall and more effective for the marketing of the much-awaited women-oriented road drama starring Patralekhaa and Maanvi Gagroo.

Along with the title change, the release date has also been postponed to June 12th. Originally it was scheduled for the release on May 29th, thus giving more time for the team to strengthen its promotional campaign. The decision comes in the wake of the positive response that has been received by the recently released trailers which sparked the growing interest of the audience and the collaborations in the industry to support the film to reach out with its maximum efforts.
