Bollywood actor Aditya Seal made a dramatic entry into the industry as a teen with a controversial role in the film Ek Chhotisi Love Story opposite Manisha Koirala. He then began his acting journey as an adult in Tum Bin 2, but the film failed to grab the expected attention. Aditya explained why saying, “Getting eyeballs for me has been the toughest. I did films I was proud of earlier, like Tum Bin 2 (2016).But it didn’t get eyeballs for reasons aplenty. One being demonetisation, which happened just a week before the film released. So, the film didn’t get the attention I was expecting. I did other projects as well. It was the only obstacle for me.”

The Empire actor’s fate rapidly changed with the release of Ananya Panday starrer Student Of The Year 2 in 2019. He added, “Thankfully, things changed with the release of SOTY 2, it did manage to get people into the cinemas to watch me on it. It finally figured it out for me.”

Aditya who will next be seen in Rocket Gang added that merely good looks have had no advantage/disadvantage for him. He added, “I don’t think that has been a problem with me. Also, I am not comparing it to anybody, but I bring a specific set of skills- I can dance, I have a black belt in Taekwondo. So I don’t think it hampered things for me in any way. Getting a role of somebody who maybe belongs to a village- that would be difficult. But I have been given enough training, so that would be exciting.”
