Tiger Shroff Joins Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe In Singham Again

Actor Tiger Shroff has geared up for a new mission as he joins the ever-growing lineup of filmmaker Rohit Shetty's cop universe. Shroff is the latest addition to the cast of Singham Again, the third instalment in the popular franchise “Singham” starring Ajay Devgn.

The news comes shortly after Deepika Padukone was confirmed to play a police officer in the upcoming movie. Rohit Shetty announced Tiger Shroff's involvement in the movie through an Instagram post, sharing three images of the actor dressed up as ACP Satya, a Special Task Force officer. In his caption, Shetty said, "Meet Special Task Force officer ACP SATYA... the immortal, like Truth! Welcome to the squad…Tiger."

Tiger Shroff also took to social media to share the same images, stating, "ACP Satya reporting on duty Singham sir  #SinghamAgain." The photos display him showcasing his well-toned physique, with a gun walking amidst raging fires and explosions.

The star-studded cast for Singham Again includes Ajay Devgn reprising his role as Singham, Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi, Ranveer Singh as Simmba, and Deepika Padukone as cop Shakti Shetty. Kareena Kapoor is also part of the cast but the official announcement is yet to be made. Rumours suggest Arjun Kapoor may appear as the villain in the movie.

Filming for Singham Again has recently begun in Hyderabad. The movie is scheduled for a grand release during the Independence Day weekend in August next year, clashing with Allu Arjun's much-awaited release of Pushpa 2.

Meanwhile, Tiger Shroff can be seen in his latest movie Ganapath alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Kriti Sanon, which hits theaters tomorrow.
